Ellie has experienced the downside of the limelight - thanks to a video that goes viral - and it has negatively impacted all facets of her life. She's been insulted, bullied, demonized and it has kept her from finding a job in her field. The last thing she wants is more attention but then she meets Mason, and choosing to be with Mason will put her right back in the spotlight.
I liked that it wasn't the usual girl and rock star story - him being famous is actually a big problem for her. And I really liked Ellie. She's a relatable character, a boomerang girl, trying to find where she fits. She's authentic, she doesn't try to change to fit in to Mason's life. Though she struggles with infamy throughout the book I really loved how she learned from her experiences and finally responded to the masses.
I have a crush on Mason... the way he loves his siblings, his commitment, his drive, his passion to achieve. And he's hot. And tattooed. And he has dimples. Dimples people!
I'm very excited about this series and can't wait to read book two, Picture Perfect.

"Ellie, you shoved your pie right in his face!" (page 1, line 1)A fun, sexy read. A smart, likeable heroine, a sexy, determined hero, a storyline filled with family and career challenges and a sweet and hot romance.

In case there was a girl alive who didn't want to drop their panties for him upon contact? It was just unfair." (location 232)I thought Ellie and Mason were great together. They get each other, support each other, challenge each other, encourage each other to pursue their dreams, and have great chemistry. I felt the emotional connection grow as they faced challenges to their relationship and to their careers. And the forehead kisses? Love the forehead kisses.
I'm very excited about this series and can't wait to read book two, Picture Perfect.

I really like the sounds of this one! Mason sounds like a great book-boyfriend to swoon over and I love rock star stories/famous people for some reason. The rich and famous lifestyle is kind of fascinating and seeing them as regular people where fame is actually not all that fun all the time is interesting. Great review!
