{eARC Review} Total Surrender (Sin Brothers #4) by Rebecca Zanetti

A fight he must win...

Piper Oliver knows she can't trust him. They warned her that the tall, dark, and sexy black-ops soldier Jory Dean would try to win her over with his steel-gray eyes and deadly charm, but she won't be conned by this man they call a traitor. All she has to do is figure out the science necessary to save his life, and she's done. Something isn't adding up, though, and she won't rest until she uncovers the truth-even if it's buried in his deep, dangerous kiss.

A passion she can't resist...

Jory will do anything to reunite with and save his brothers-even kidnap the gorgeous woman who's working to deactivate the deadly chip in their spines. But the forces determined to destroy his family won't let them go so easily. Keeping Piper alive is more than he bargained for-and so is his burning desire for her. But with every second bringing him closer to certain death, can he afford to lose himself in her hot and willing embrace?

A satisfying conclusion to the Dean Brothers' stories, full of excitement, surprises, passion and danger.
I loved Jory. In the previous books we've seen through the other brother's memories that Jory is a sweet guy, the heart of the Dean family, and he still is. He's also smart, cunning, huge and built, willing to do anything for the people he loves - willing to kill and die, and the way he loves - totally and completely. He's an awesome alpha hero.
Although I liked her Piper wasn't my favorite of the Dean brother's girls. She's loyal - to a fault, stubborn - again to a fault, and for a brilliant computer genius she's really quite blind. I did understand why she was so determined, and wasn't that a surprise, but with so much evidence in front of her it took her a while to come to her senses.
As expected Total Surrender is full of suspense and thrills, shock and awe, bullets, explosions, good guys with their girls, and bad guys getting what they deserve. While it is the last story of the four Dean brothers Total Surrender leaves the door open for more stories in this world, and I sincerely hope to read more.

{ARC Romance Review} Blind Faith (Sin Brothers #3) by Rebecca Zanetti

{ARC Romance Review}  Blind Faith (Sin Brothers #3) by Rebecca Zanetti
Blind Faith (Sin Brothers, #3)
A betrayal he couldn't forget . . .

For Nate Dean, love is a four-letter word. As part of a secret black-ops military unit, he and his brothers were genetically engineered by the government to be ruthless soldiers with an expiration date. They were loyal only to one another . . . until Nate laid eyes on the woman who stole his heart and blew his world apart. Now, years later, his family is still paying the price for his mistake. But as time runs out, there's only one person who can save his family: the very woman Nate swore he'd never trust again.

A love she couldn't deny . . .

The moment Audrey Madison spies Nate across a crowded ballroom, she can barely breathe. He's just as undeniably sexy as she remembers, yet there's an edge to him now that's as irresistible as it is dangerous. When he asks for her help, Audrey can't refuse. But she has secrets of her own-secrets that, if Nate ever discovers them, may cost them both their lives . . . (Blurb via Goodreads)

"Nathan's boots echoed on the hard tiles, the deep sound thrown back by the cinder blocks lining the wall." (page 1, line 1)
Exciting, passionate, action-packed, a hot romance. Book three in the Sin Brothers series did not disappoint.

I thought Audrey was a complex character and at times difficult to understand. She persists in protecting her mother knowing the horrors her mother perpetrated and continues to accept the way Dr. Madison treats her. She knows that she deserves better but she just can't stop hoping. What that does show is what a warm-hearted and loving person Audrey is, that she's the kind of girl who doesn't give up. Though she bravely takes responsibility for all of her past actions I did want her to stop apologizing (so many 'I'm sorrys'), her intentions were good, she was trying to protect him, to protect herself.

Nate. I loved protective, fierce Nate in book three and he only gets better when you get to see inside his head in Blind Faith. He's also adorable when the "Big Thing" is revealed and he goes all sweet and uber-overprotective. I loved seeing his interactions with his brothers, the sacrifices he's willing to make for them and how he continues to protect Audrey even while thinking the worst of her.

Zanetti takes you on an emotional roller coaster in Blind Faith, making you feel the agony of loss, of betrayal, of thinking that everything you believed, had felt, was an illusion. And she does a fabulous job with the family theme, the 'never alone', making me feel like I know that family now, and understand what family means to them and the lengths they're willing to go to protect it.

I love all Dean family, Zanetti definitely knows how to write hot, protective, alpha males and strong, resilient heroines. I'm very excited to read book four, Total Surrender, I can't believe I have to wait until 2015 to read it.
