{YA Minute Review} Midnight Frost by Jennifer Estep

{YA Minute Review} Midnight Frost by Jennifer Estep

As Nike’s Champion, everyone expects me to lead the charge against the Reapers, even though I’m still hurting over what happened with Spartan warrior Logan Quinn. I’ve got to get my hands on the antidote fast — otherwise, an innocent person will die. {Rating} 3/5 - I liked it!

"I was trapped." (page 1, line 1)

I was excited to see Gwen being proactive, taking the lead, no longer the girl who hides in the background. There are new challenges, old foes, new friends, and as usual, a few more secrets are revealed and new mysteries are presented. I'm still enjoying the series - loving the addition of supernatural creatures - and eagerly awaiting the next installment in the Mythos series, Killer Frost, which releases in February.
