The strength of Sloane’s heart is about to be put to the ultimate test.
After the Eclipse – the night vampires began openly slaughtering human victims – everything changed. Out of fear, the government salvaged what remained of the human population and enclosed them in massive, security-laden cities called White Sectors, while marking the vampire infested territory as Red Sectors.
When seventeen-year-old Sloane McAllister’s twin brother disappears, she seems to be the only one who thinks he isn’t dead, and she vows to stop at nothing to find him. Gathering her courage, she braves the Red Sector to search for clues to his whereabouts. By chance, she encounters Aden, a handsome, charismatic vampire with a hidden agenda. He turns Sloane against her will and whisks her away to his underground city. Enemies quickly become friends as Sloane struggles against her attraction to Aden, and resists her growing loyalties to the creatures that ruined her life.
But the vampires themselves are the least of her problems. A war is brewing between the humans and vampires, along with a growing web of deceit and betrayal. And before it’s all over, loyalties will be tested, hearts will be broken, and no one’s lives will ever be the same.

{Interview}
Today, Krystle Jones, author of the young adult
dystopian/PNR series The Red Sector
Chronicles, will be interviewing the handsome and mysterious vampire, Aden
Knight!
ADEN: I believe you forgot “drool-worthy.”
KRYSTLE: Yeah, I think I heard Sloane mention that a time or
two.
*Sloane blushes from where she’s standing off-stage.*
KRYSTLE: Anyway, tell the readers a little about yourself.
ADEN: Well, Krystle. *brushes glossy blond bangs from his
eyes* I’m a commanding officer in the Syndicate, an organization of human-like
vampires with a secret base belowground.
KRYSTLE: It’s not going to stay secret for long if you keep
blabbing about it. *grumbles* You said “human-like.” So are there different
types of vampires?
ADEN: Oh, yes. There are vampires that look like you and me…
*expression darkens but is no less poster-worthy* Then there are Rogues.
KRYSTLE: Tell us about those.
ADEN: They’re monsters, barely more than skin and bones,
with long, sharp claws, yellow fangs, and red eyes.
KRYSTLE: They sound scary!
ADEN: They are. *wicked grin* But no less un-killable.
KRYSTLE: Is that even a word?
ADEN: It is now. *said very suavely*
KRYSTLE: *fans self* Well, erm, let’s talk a little about
your love life.
ADEN: *blushes slightly*
KRYSTLE: Inquiring minds would like to know – are you and
Sloane a “thing?”
ADEN: *smiles mysteriously* Wouldn’t you like to know?
KRYSTLE: I already know, silly, because I’m the author. But
readers would like to know. Which is why I asked.
ADEN: *winks at audience* Why don’t you read and find out?
*said very sexily*
KRYSTLE: *rolls eyes* You’re such a ham!
ADEN: I prefer “dashing.”
KRYSTLE: Whatever. We’re about out of time. Do you have
anything else you’d like to say to the audience?
ADEN: If you like a healthy dose of adventure and romance in
your dystopian worlds, then I invite you to read The Red Sector Chronicles. Besides.
*flashes camera-ready smile* I’m in this book. What more reason could you need?
KRYSTLE: *face-palm*
