{Review}
First the good: I liked the plot and the concept, the idea of shifters and magic, it was new and interesting. The storyline had twists and turns, keeping me guessing about who the bad guy is, and a bit of action to keep my attention. I liked Dash's friendship with Gaelan, I think Gaelan ended up being my favorite character.
Now for the bad: I never really felt the romance between Annie and Dash, it seemed like they had more of a relationship when they were together in Cancun than they do now. And Dash as an alpha? We see it a few times but not when it comes to Annie. He talked about her for years but never did anything about it? Where's the alpha in that?
