{Rating} 4/5 - I really liked it!

Win the Rings has an awesome concept, intriguing characters, and an exciting storyline.

Jace is a bad ass and kick ass heroine. She's the best soldier, she's self-possessed, smart, focused, determined. The army has shaped her - manipulated her - from the age of five into the perfect weapon but they couldn't take away her desire for freedom. She's a multi-dimensional character, caring for people who'd just as soon see her dead, willing to kill without remorse but with a moral code.

Gray is just like Jace but he's become a very different person as a result of his upbringing. He's been living off of his abilities, running, hiding, but at least living a bit of a normal life. He's softer but he's not without skills. Despite seeing the world from his point of view (I love dual POVs) I didn't feel like I got to know him as well as Jace.

Win the Rings is a great start to the Cracked Chronicles and it left me excited to see what happens next.
